Fashion Show
Our 18th annual Fashion Luncheon Show was held January 21, 2012. This year's theme was Tropical Splendor . About 170 members and guests enjoyed an afternoon of great food, fun fashions and chances for numerous door prizes. 11 garden club members and 2 guests modeled fashions provided by the Lake Placid merchants Chic Chick Boutique, Elizabeth's Bridal and Formal Wear, Kasie's Collections, Lake Placid Feed and Western Wear and the Sebring merchants Dress Barn, Steve & Company and Sue's Cubby Hole Boutique. The intermission entertainment featured Nola Price, The Heartland Junior Idol winner. The delicious lunch was catered by the Depot Restaurant of Avon Park. The Lake Placid Garden Club would like to thank everyone who made the event a huge success, the donations by our local merchants, opportunity prizes, ticket purchasers and all the hours of time the committees spent on making the fashion show spectacular.
