President Connie Watson presided at the October 12th meeting of the Lake Placid Garden Club. The hostess committee prepared  green Jello with Belgium chocolate coated cookies  and the table were adorned with potted ornamental pea plants. The program, in keeping with the theme, The Colors of LPGC, was  Green Thumb in a tub: Making a terrarium  was given by First Vice President, Sharon Diaz. Sharon provided all materials to make the terraniums and did a wonderful terrarium 101 class. All present had a great learning experience and had a terrarium to take home.   34 members and 2 guests attended the meeting.
