September 2011 President Connie Watson presided at the September 14th meeting of the Lake Plcid Garden Club. The hostess committee had potato chips and made brownies for dessert. The table centerpieces were potted caladiums. The program was a talk on the History of the turpentine industry in Florida given by Deborah Worley, member of the Lake Placid Historical Society. 34 members and 3 guests attended the meeting.
