	Scholarships *Lake Placid High School Scholarship:* The scholarship is presented at Awards Night by the Garden Club. Special consideration is given to a student who plans to concentrate his/her studies in the field of horticulture, botany, agriculture, or environmental studies. The student shall be selected by the Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Chairman will present the student’s name, background and qualifications at the May meeting. The scholarship recipient will be given a certificate and instructions on how to receive the monies awarded.
	Continuing Education Scholarship: The scholarship is presented to any previous recipient of the Lake Placid High School Scholarship who is pursuing the required studies. The Scholarship Chairman will present the student’s name, background and qualifications at the May meeting.
	Archbold Biological Station Campership is given to deserving children who wish to study animals and native plants in a special setting. The students are suggested by Archbold Biological Station and approved by the Scholarship committee.
